In the last 24 hours in Italy have been registered 7,332 new cases of coronavirus infection and 43 deaths, for a total of 372,799 cases and 36,289 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic. The people currently hospitalized are 6,009 (419 more than yesterday), of which 539 in intensive care wards (25 more than yesterday). 152,196 swabs were also analyzed and 87,601 people tested: 4.8 percent of the swabs tested were positive. Yesterday there were 5,901 registered infections, 112,544 swabs analyzed and 70,260 people tested.

The greatest number of infections was recorded in Lombardy (1,884). Followed by Campania (818), Veneto (657), Tuscany (575), Lazio (543), Piedmont (499), Sicily (366), Emilia-Romagna (339) and Liguria (362).
The provinces in which the highest number of cases has been ascertained are Milan (1,032), Naples (441), Rome (360), Turin (280), Genoa (263), Florence (196), Bari (169), Monza and Brianza (150), Vicenza (134), Treviso (134) ) and Venice (134).
