There are no places for coronavirus patients in more hospitals. Such a problem is complained of by institutions, among others, in central Poland – informs RMF FM journalist Michał Dobrołowicz.

These are mainly health centers in smaller towns. E.g City Hospital in Siedlce and District Hospital in Kozienice in Mazovia. In Kozienice, all 24 beds for people with coronavirus are occupied, including two with respirators. And there are more and more sick people. In turn, there are so many infected in Siedlce that subsequent departments have been renamed those that only deal with coronavirus patients. From the beginning of the week, infected people go to the current cardiology department.

There are also no places in covid wards in Małopolska. Additional beds were immediately occupied, among others, in Zakopane, Nowy Targ and Limanowa.

As for respirators, as established by the RMF FM reporter, less than half of the 900 devices are used in Poland – however, for example in the province of There are only 14 free respirators available in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, and 13 in Pomeranian Voivodeship for people suffering from coranavirus in the entire voivodeship.

During the last 24 hours in Germany it was detected 4,122 new SARS-CoV-2 infections, and 13 more people have died from the coronavirus – informed the Berlin Institute Robert Koch (RKI).

Over the past week, the highest number of infections per population was recorded in Bremen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Berlin, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg.
