Coronavirus crisis | Van Gogh painting stolen from Dutch museum

A painting by the painter Vincent Van Gogh It has been stolen from the Singer Museum in the Netherlands, closed like other cultural centers in the country due to restrictive measures taken in recent weeks to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

The museum, located in the town of Laren, he was assaulted at dawn, around 3.15 am, according to a statement from the Police. The security forces went to the building after the alarm went off and found a broken glass door.

The thieves took away a work of 1884, which was not part of the collection of the gallery but was a loan from the Groninger museum, according to the public channel NOS.
