Two other children in New York have died from rare inflammatory syndrome linked to the coronavirus, the governor of New York state announced on Saturday. The balance sheet is therefore now three children killed by this syndrome.
“This disease has claimed the lives of three young New Yorkers. It’s new and it’s growing“Andrew Mark Cuomo said during his daily coronavirus briefing in Manhattan.”Deaths, including a 5-year-old child” are “really worrying“, he added. According to CBS, a seven-year-old child died last week in a New York suburb, with similar symptoms.
Tragically, three young New Yorkers have died of what may be a COVID-related illness in children.
This illness has symptoms that are similar to Kawasaki disease & toxic shock syndrome.

The disease is believed to have infected at least 73 children statewide. “This is why we must tackle this problem” who is “the priority for us today“, added the governor.
These children have symptoms similar to Kawasaki disease or toxic shock syndrome, ”he also said. “It is an inflammation of the blood vessels [qui affecte] the heart”, he continued.
