Coronavirus Cases Approaching 7,000 in North Carolina

The number of cases of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) is approaching 7,000 due to about 1,000 new cases detected this weekend alone, according to health authorities.

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (Health and Human Services">NCDHHS) ad On April 20 So far, 6,784 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in 93 counties in the state, of which 373 are hospitalized.
