Coronavirus case numbers in Miami, Hialeah and every Miami-Dade city | Univision 23 Miami WLTV

The Florida Department of Health (FDOH) reported this Sunday that Miami-Dade reached 9,354 cases of people with coronavirus, being, the county with the most infections in Florida. It is followed by Broward with 3,971 and Palm Beach with 2,170.

According to the US Census Bureau, as of July 2019, it is estimated that in Miami-Dade there is a population of 2,716,940. In the county, until the last report, the coronavirus 56,093 people, and of these, 46,573 have tested negative.

The ages of infected with covid-19 in the county, according to the FDOH they range from 0 to 105 years and the average age is 49 years.

Of the confirmed cases, 4,755 (51%) are men, and 4,431 (48%) women.

By ethnicity, Hispanics make up 44% of infections, with 4,079 cases of covid-19.

According to the Florida Department of Health, there have been 866 hospitalizations for coronavirus in Miami-Dade and 198 people have lost their lives.

The county cities with the most cases are Miami, Hialeah, Miami Beach, Homestead and Miami Gardens.
