José Luis Alomía, general director of Epidemiology, reported that there are 535 thousand 461 estimated cases and 56 thousand 598 deaths from covid-19.

He also asserted that in recent weeks there was a decrease of 16 percent in estimated cases. Same case of estimated deaths showing a 46 percent decrease. While there is an increasing number of recovered cases.

There are 737 new deaths from covid-19 and 5,858 positive cases. In addition there are 2,395 suspicious deaths awaiting laboratory results.
