Morocco has recorded 1,132 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people affected to 35,195 people since the start of the epidemic.
This Tuesday, all regions of the country show cases carrying the virus with a concentration of new infections in the region of Casablanca Settat, that is to say 391 cases of which almost all recorded in the economic capital (312), 4 in Nouaceur, 20 in Mohammedia , 17 in El Jadida, 7 in Settat, 9 in Berrechid and 22 in Mediouna.
With 195 new cases, the Marrakech Safi region recorded the second most important assessment in the Kingdom on Tuesday, including 147 in Marrakech, 12 in Rhamna, 1 in Safi, 7 in Chichaoua, 1 in Essaouira and 27 in Youssoufia.
Two other regions have reports of more than 100 cases, namely 163 cases for Fes Meknes and 140 cases for Tanger Tétouan Al Hoceima. Fes leads the affected cities in the region, with a total of 70 cases, followed by 30 cases in Taza, 28 cases in Meknes, 19 cases in El Hajeb, 17 cases in Boulemane, 5 cases in Sefrou.
The Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima region has a total of 140 cases distributed as follows: 79 new cases in Tangier, 41 in Tetouan, 10 in Larache, 9 in Al Hoceima, 1 in M’diq-Fnideq. A total of 63 cases were identified in Rabat Salé Kénitra including 23 cases in Témara, 2 in Sidi Kacem, 9 in Rabat, 13 in Salé, 10 in Kénitra, 5 in Sidi Slimane and 1 in Khemisset.
A similar toll of nearly fifty cases was recorded in three regions. This is Beni Mellal Khénifra with 50 cases (5 in Khouribga, 30 in Beni Mellal, 15 in Azilal), 52 cases in Drâa Tafilalet (8 in Errachidia, 7 in Zagoura, 28 in Ouarzazate, 6 in Midelt and 3 in Tinghir) and 45 cases in Souss Massa (27 in Agadir-Ida Outanane, 6 in Inzeguane Aït Melloul, 4 in Tiznit, 3 in Taroudant, 5 in Chtouka Aït Baha).
The Oriental region has 19 cases including 3 in Berkane, 2 in Jerada, 5 in Oujda, 6 in Driouch, 2 in Nador, and 1 in Taourirt, 10 cases in Dakhla Oued Eddahab, 3 cases in Guelmim Oued Noun, 1 case in Laâyoune Sakia El Hamra.
