“These days we are witnessing an increase in positive cases, in Emilia Romagna and in the country. In part expected, because we are serving a few weeks before Christmas which saw greater freedom of movement and personal and social relationships for citizens. Furthermore, due to the high number of molecular swabs we make, – says the regional councilor for health policies, Raffaele Donini – more and more rapid swabs are added every day, almost 30 thousand in the last three days alone: an ability to test the population that allows us to find many asymptomatic and therefore to carry out greater control and prevention. But it is above all important to start yesterday, after the “vaccine day”, of the actual vaccination campaign against Covid. We started with the health personnel, operators and patients of the CRAs and in Emilia-Romagna we set ourselves the goal of getting 50 thousand vaccines a week: now more than ever is the time to keep our guard up, all continuing to respect the safety rules “.
