France recorded 229 deaths attributed to Covid-19 in the space of 24 hours, in hospitals, the health authorities announced on Wednesday, at the end of a day that shows stability in indicators of the coronavirus epidemic in France. At a still high level, however.

An increase in positive cases of almost 20%
Statistical data show a slight decline in hospital admissions compared to the previous day, 1,581 entries against 1,657 Tuesday. In the same way, the patients admitted to the intensive care units were a little less numerous this Wednesday: 208 against 257.
Conversely, the positive cases diagnosed mark an increase of more than 4,000 people. During the past 24 hours, 23,852 new patients have been diagnosed, they were 19,753 on Tuesday, according to Public Health France. Currently, hospitals have 24,769 patients in care (less 32), 2,711 in intensive care, 23 more than the day before.
