Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 117,019 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia Romagna, 2,165 more than yesterday, out of a total of 21,304 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 10.2%. Also performed 1,471 serological tests.
The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 1,113 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Modena with (538) new cases, that of Bologna with 435 cases, then that of Reggio Emilia (220), Ravenna (207), Piacenza (142), Rimini (101), Ferrara with 138 cases and that of Parma (132). Then Imola (123), Cesena (56), Forlì (73).
The number of active cases, that is of actual patients, has dropped significantly: to date they are 70,289 (-1,182 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home are 67,366 (-1,168), 95.8% of the total number of active cases.
Unfortunately, there are 66 new deaths: 6 in the province of Piacenza (2 men, respectively 88 and 82 years old and 4 women respectively 88, 88, 45 and 93); 6 in the Parma area of which 4 women, of 83, 86, 91, and 91, and 2 men, respectively of 76 (in the verification phase, coming from outside Emilia-Romagna) and one of 83 years; 6 in that of Reggio Emilia (4 women – aged 71, 92, 43 and 85 – 2 men, aged 88 and 69); 11 in that of Modena (6 women – aged 92, 75, 93, 100, 90 and 82 – and 5 men, respectively 87, 63, 93, 91 and 78 years old); 23 in that of Bologna (17 men – of 77, 89, 78, 85, 83, 79, 65, 77, 85, 83, 81, 59, 80, 75, 65, 89 and 78 – and 6 women, of 85 , 87, 83,68, 84 and 86); 4 in the Ferrara area (2 men respectively aged 82 and 2 women aged 82 and 93), 4 in the Ravenna area (all men: 2 aged 84, one aged 82 and one aged 86); a death in Forlì, a 72-year-old man; 5 in the province of Rimini (including 4 men – aged 81, 72, 84 and 86 – and 1 woman aged 88).
There are 250 patients admitted to intensive care (-8 compared to yesterday), while those in other Covid departments are down: 2,673 (-6).
On the territory, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 15 in Piacenza (-1), 14 in Parma (unchanged), 34 in Reggio Emilia (+1), 63 in Modena (-2), 55 in Bologna (- 1 compared to yesterday), 5 in Imola (- 1), 19 in Ferrara (-3), 15 in Ravenna (unchanged), 4 in Forlì (unchanged), 1 in Cesena (unchanged) and 25 in Rimini (-1) . As for the total number of people healed, they are 3,281 more than yesterday and reach 41,116.
These are the cases of positivity in the area since the beginning of the epidemic: 12,117 in Piacenza (+142 compared to yesterday, of which 48 symptomatic), 9,913 in Parma (+132, of which 78 symptomatic), 16,849 in Reggio Emilia (+220 , of which 131 symptomatic).
Since the beginning of the epidemic Modena has reached 21,210 (+538, of which 372 are symptomatic). I am 10,590
people healed.
47 cases and 1 death today in Carpi where 1,966 infections have been recorded so far, while the deaths rise to 94.
