Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 112,700 cases of positivity have been recorded in Emilia Romagna, 2,130 more than yesterday, out of a total of 18,498 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made drops: today it is 11.5%, compared to 12.7% yesterday. 1,714 serological tests were also performed.
The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 1,110 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. The median age of new positives today is 45.7 years.
The situation of infections in the provinces of Emilia-Romagna sees Bologna with 327 new cases; followed by Rimini (272), Modena (250), Piacenza (222), Reggio Emilia (219), Parma (201). Then Ravenna (180), Ferrara (163), Imola (107), Cesena (106) and Forlì, with 83 cases.
The active cases are 72,526 (1,183 more than yesterday). Of these, there are 69,514 people in isolation at home (+1,137 compared to yesterday), 95.8% of the total number of active cases.
There are 54 new deaths: 3 in the province of Piacenza (an 83-year-old man and two women, 79 and 90 years old), one in Parma (a 96-year-old man), 13 in Modena (6 women – 1 of 76 years old) , 2 of 85 years, 1 of 88, 1 of 90 and 1 of 94 years – and 7 men, respectively of 62, 64, 72, 82, 83, 84, 88 years), 25 in that of Bologna (7 women – respectively 75, 92, 93, 94, 96, 97, 100 years – and 18 men, respectively 61, 63, 71, 73, 77, 80, 83 years; 3 of 84 years; 1 of 86, 87, 88, 90, 91, 93, 96, 98 years), where the death of a 98-year-old woman residing in Sicily also occurred. Two deaths are in the Ferrara area (a 70 year old man and a 77 year old woman), 3 in the Ravenna area (a 79 year old woman and two men aged 70 and 84); 6 in the province of Rimini (respectively 2 women aged 78 and 85, 4 men aged 78, 80, 87 and 97).
There are 249 patients admitted to intensive care (+6 compared to yesterday), 2,763 those in other Covid departments (+40). On the territory, the people admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 12 in Piacenza (unchanged from yesterday), 12 in Parma (unchanged), 32 in Reggio Emilia (+2), 63 in Modena (-1), 57 in Bologna (unchanged), 6 in Imola (+1), 20 in Ferrara (+2), 14 in Ravenna (+2), 4 in Forlì (-2), 1 in Cesena (unchanged) and 28 in Rimini (+2) .
The people healed rise to 34,681 (+893 compared to yesterday).
These are the positive cases in the area since the beginning of the epidemic: 11,832 in Piacenza (+222 compared to yesterday, of which 51 symptomatic), 9,671 in Parma (+201, of which 149 symptomatic), 16,296 in Reggio Emilia (+219 , of which 149 symptomatic).
Since the beginning of the epidemic, Modena has reached 20,428 (+250, of which 158 are symptomatic).
