Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 171,512 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia Romagna, 2,116 more than yesterday, out of a total of 15,735 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 13.4%. The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 930 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. 8,169 rapid swabs and 254 serological tests were also performed.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Modena with 362 new cases; followed by Bologna (339), Reggio Emilia (288), Rimini (261), Ravenna (191), Ferrara (173), Forlì (117), Piacenza (108). Then Cesena (106), then Parma (100) and Imola (71).
There are 57,346 active cases (+1,289 compared to yesterday). Of these, the people in isolation at home are 54,484 (+1,298), 95% of the total. There are 55 new deaths: 3 in Piacenza (a woman of 83 years, and two men respectively of 74 and 77 years), 4 in the province of Parma (two women of 80 and 90 and two men of 80 and 86), 8 in the province of Reggio Emilia (4 women, respectively 79, 90, 91 and 101 years old, and 4 men: one of 82, two of 90, one of 96); 8 in the Modena area (two women – aged 84 and 94 – and 6 men, one of 72, two of 80, one of 82, one of 83 and one of 91); 6 in the province of Bologna (3 women – aged 77, 83 and 88, – and 3 men: 57, 69 and 81 years old); 3 in Imola (two women, respectively 88 and 92, and a man of 87); 5 in the Ferrara area (two women aged 90 and 93, and three men aged 70, 85, 90); 5 in the province of Ravenna (one woman of 94 years, and 4 men, respectively of 77, 79, 84 and 90 years); 3 in Forlì-Cesena (a 91 year old woman and two 87 and 92 year old men); 9 in Rimini: 7 women – one 75 years old, one 87 years old, two 93 years old, two 94 years old and one 99 years old; two men aged 73 and 82. A death of an 83-year-old woman residing in another region. In total, 7,738 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. There are 233 patients admitted to intensive care (+3 compared to yesterday), 2,629 those in the other Covid departments (-12). In the area, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 13 in Piacenza (+1 compared to yesterday), 15 in Parma (number unchanged compared to yesterday), 21 in Reggio Emilia (unchanged), 52 in Modena (+2) , 46 in Bologna (unchanged), 12 in Imola (+1), 28 in Ferrara (+2), 20 in Ravenna (-2), 5 in Forlì (unchanged), 3 in Cesena (unchanged) and 18 in Rimini ( -1). The healed are 772 more than yesterday and reach 106,428.
These are the cases of positivity in the area since the beginning of the epidemic, which refer not to the province of residence, but to the one in which the diagnosis was made: 15,466 in Piacenza (+108 compared to yesterday, of which 49 symptomatic), 12,999 in Parma (+100, of which 63 symptomatic), 23,366 in Reggio Emilia (+288, of which 169 symptomatic).
Since the beginning of the epidemic Modena reaches 30,875 (+362, of which 208 are symptomatic). 23,605 people have been healed. 24 cases and 1 death (a man from 1940) today in Carpi.
