In the morning of this Sunday, A flight arrived in Ezeiza with a shipment of 200,000 units of the CanSino single-dose vaccine to apply nationwide against coronavirus. In Rosario, a week ago the application to the residents of the Las Flores neighborhood began.
As detailed by the specialized journalist Florencia Ballarino on her Twitter account, what is established by federal consensus is that “These single-dose schedule vaccines will be used throughout the national territory for populations with difficult access, such as homeless people, migrants, refugees and other dispersed groups.“.
A shipment with 200,000 units of the CanSino single-dose vaccine arrived in Ezeiza this morning at KLM company KL701. With this arrival, the country reached 67,708,045 vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 received since the start of the vaccination plan. @msalnacion

During the vaccination session in the city, Sonia Martorano, Minister of Health, gave details of the particularities of CanSino: “It is 68% effective in preventing the disease, but there is an even more interesting number; above 90% for the prevention of serious forms and hospitalizations ”.
According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, as of this morning 55,269,629 doses were distributed throughout the territory, while applications total 50,790,451. In turn, 29,430,580 people started their scheme and 21,359,871 completed it.
