Since the start of the Coronavirus epidemic, 198,878 cases of positivity have been recorded in Emilia Romagna, 1,794 more than yesterday, out of a total of 15,667 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 11.5%.
Also performed 6,713 rapid swabs and 733 serological tests
In the meantime, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues: 107,029 people were vaccinated at 4 pm, 4,339 administered today at that time, bearing in mind that the health authorities continue for the whole day.
The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 778 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Modena with 421 new cases, then Rimini (307) and Bologna (273); followed by Reggio Emilia (184), Piacenza (139), Ferrara (123), Cesena (113); then Ravenna (83), Parma (82), the Imolese district (35) and finally Forlì (34).
There are 55,510 active cases (-436 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home are 52,768 (-335), 95% of the total. There are 67 new deaths: 7 in Piacenza (a woman of 86 years and 6 men, respectively of 55, 78, 79, 83, 86, 92 years), 5 in the province of Parma (2 women, of 67 and 96 years, and 3 men aged 81, 85 and 87), 2 in the province of Reggio Emilia (2 men aged 84 and 89); 10 in the Modena area (4 women – respectively 70, 82, 88 and 90 years old – and 6 men, respectively a 62 year old – who died in Reggio Emilia -, the others 78, 84, 90, 91, 95 years old); 11 in the province of Bologna (7 women – respectively of 69, 83, 84, 2 of 86, 91, 92 years – and 4 men: 2 of 83 years, one of which from Imola, the others of 86 and 89 years); 5 in the Ferrara area (2 women, aged 85 and 96, and 3 men aged 79, 88, 96); 13 in the province of Ravenna (8 women – respectively of 82, 83, 86, 87, 90, 91, 92, 96 years – and 5 men, of 71, 74, 75, 80, 89 years); 3 in Forlì-Cesena (2 women, aged 86 and 87, and a man aged 82); 11 in Rimini (6 women – respectively 54, 76, 84, 88, 91, 97 years old – and 5 men, 72, 79, 83, 85 and 87 years old). In total, 8,657 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
There are 231 patients admitted to intensive care (-2 compared to yesterday), 2,511 those in the other Covid departments (-99).
In the area, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 16 in Piacenza (+1 compared to yesterday), 14 in Parma (-1), 17 in Reggio Emilia (unchanged), 43 in Modena (-4), 44 in Bologna (+1), 13 in Imola (-3), 28 in Ferrara (+2), 19 in Ravenna (+2), 4 in Forlì (unchanged), 6 in Cesena (unchanged) and 27 in Rimini (unchanged) .
The healed are 2,163 more than yesterday and reach 134,711.
These are the cases of positivity in the area since the beginning of the epidemic: 17,241 in Piacenza (+139 compared to yesterday, of which 70 symptomatic), 14,262 in Parma (+82, of which 55 symptomatic), 26,747 in Reggio Emilia (+184 , of which 83 symptomatic).
Since the beginning of the epidemic Modena reaches 35,458 (+421, of which 267 symptomatic). There are 27,060 healed. 34 cases and 0 deaths today in Carpi.
