Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 158,345 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia Romagna, 1,162 more than yesterday, out of a total of 19,892 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made since yesterday drops to 5.8%. The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 655 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. 4.841 rapid swabs and 702 serological tests were also performed.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 244 new cases, Rimini (147), then Modena (139), Ravenna (131), Reggio Emilia (125), Piacenza (117), Ferrara (83), Imola (54), Cesena (49), Forlì (46), Parma (27).
The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date have fallen to 59,746 (-2,306 compared to yesterday). Of these, 56,645 people (-2,290) are in isolation at home, almost 95% of the total. No deaths in Rimini. In total, 7,168 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
There is an increase in patients admitted to intensive care, which are 210 (+7 compared to yesterday), and 2,891 in other Covid departments (-23). In the area, the patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 16 in Piacenza (unchanged compared to yesterday), 14 in Parma (unchanged), 19 in Reggio Emilia (unchanged), 40 in Modena (+1), 55 in Bologna ( +4), 7 in Imola (+1), 17 in Ferrara (unchanged), 18 in Ravenna (+1), 3 in Forlì (unchanged), 2 in Cesena (+1) and 19 in Rimini (-1).
The healed are 3,400 more than yesterday. The total number of healed therefore rises to 91,411.
These are the cases of positivity in the area since the beginning of the epidemic, which refer not to the province of residence, but to the one in which the diagnosis was made: 14,530 in Piacenza (+ 117 compared to yesterday, of which 53 symptomatic), 12,395 in Parma (+27, of which 15 symptomatic), 22,101 in Reggio Emilia (+125, of which 44 symptomatic).
Since the beginning of the epidemic Modena reaches 28,849 (+139, of which 93 symptomatic). 21,138 people have been healed. 12 cases and 0 deaths today in Carpi.
