Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia out of 8,525 molecular swabs, 724 new infections were detected with a positive rate of 8.49%. I am also 3,915 rapid tests made antigenic, from which 334 cases (8.53%) were detected.
It was since the beginning of the year that there were not more than a thousand cases in total, precisely from January 9, when the positives had been 1,015.
There are 19 deaths recorded. The number of hospitalizations in intensive care has risen to 77 (one more), while those in the other departments are 545 (seven more than yesterday).. This was communicated by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
The deaths totaled 3,076, with the following territorial subdivision: 677 in Trieste, 1,574 in Udine, 616 in Pordenone and 209 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 67,952, the clinically healed 2,707, while those in isolation today are 14,904.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 89,261 people have been positive with the following territorial subdivision: 16,546 in Trieste, 42,806 in Udine, 18,176 in Pordenone, 10,734 in Gorizia and 999 from outside the region.
In detail, in the sector of residences for the elderly, 2 positive cases were detected among the people housed in the regional structures and one among the health workers within the same.
With regard to the regional health system, the positivity to Covid of a nurse and an administrative officer must be recorded in the Friuli Centrale university health authority; in the Giuliano Isontina University Healthcare Company of a doctor and an administrative.
Finally, the return of a positive person from South Korea should be highlighted.
