Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 35,414 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 103 more than yesterday, of which 51 asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities.
The average age of new positives today is 35.
Of the 51 asymptomatic, 26 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 15 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 3 through serological tests, 6 with pre-hospitalization screening, while one is not yet the epidemiological investigation was concluded.
As regards the situation in the territory, the highest number of cases is recorded in the provinces of Bologna (34), Reggio Emilia (18) and Modena (15).
In Bologna and the province, out of 34 new positives, 23 were identified for the presence of symptoms, of which 15 attributable to already known outbreaks, 6 were identified thanks to tests on risk categories, 1 thanks to contact tracing, 3 following pre-admission tests, 1 on returning from abroad (Egypt).
In the province of Reggio Emilia, out of 18 new positive cases, 16 are attributable to already known outbreaks, of which 14 in the family and 1 in the workplace, 1 was identified on returning from abroad (India), 1 is classified as sporadic .
In the province of Modena, out of 15 new positives, 6 returned from abroad (2 from Tunisia, 2 from Moldova, 1 from Turkey, 1 from Spain), 6 were identified as contacts of already known cases, 1 was positive following a company screening and 2, finally, sporadic cases.
The swabs made are 8,418, for a total of 1,184,856. To these are added 3,015 serological tests.
The active cases, that is the number of actual patients, are currently 4,654 (+1 compared to yesterday).
There are 4,434 people in isolation at home (unchanged from yesterday), 95% of active cases. There are 14 patients in intensive care (unchanged compared to yesterday), those hospitalized in the other Covid departments are 206 (+1 compared to yesterday).
The total number of people healed reached 26,276 (+102 compared to yesterday): 7 “clinically cured” (stable compared to yesterday), that is, became asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection, and 26,269 those declared healed in all respects because you tested negative in two consecutive tests.
There is no death in the Emilia-Romagna area.
These are the cases of positivity in the area: 5,052 in Piacenza (+7, of which 5 symptomatic), 4,314 in Parma (+5, of which 3 symptomatic), 5,817 in Reggio Emilia (+18, of which 8 symptomatic).
