Coronation Street fans can look forward to the return of Max Turner next week after a brief absence from the show. Max, who is serving a six-month sentence for his involvement with far-right group Griff Reynolds, is visited by his father David Platt at the secure training centre where he is being held. David informs his mother, Gail Rodwell, that Max is being considered for early release due to his good behavior. Although things seem to be looking up for Max, David warns him not to get his hopes up. This is also the first time viewers will see Max’s new shaven-headed look, which actor Paddy Bever revealed on Instagram in March. Coronation Street producer Iain MacLeod has previously spoken about long-term plans for Max, promising a happy ending involving an unlikely love interest. Catch Coronation Street on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and on ITVX. For more Coronation Street spoilers, visit our dedicated homepage.
