Corona: Waldeck-Frankenberg continues to have the highest incidence in Hesse

Waldeck-Frankenberg also had the highest 7-day incidence of new corona infections in all of Hesse over the entire Whitsun weekend.

Waldeck-Frankenberg – According to the district, the 7-day incidence rose from Friday (130) to Saturday to 133, on Sunday to 141.3, and fell slightly to 139.4 on Monday, May 24, 2021.

Across Germany, according to the Robert Koch Institute, the district was 12th out of 401 districts and urban districts on Whit Monday, and thus even higher than on Friday with 18th place.

The district reported 402 current infected people on Monday (Sunday 423, Saturday 397). Four new infections faced 25 recovered on Monday.

29 corona patients were treated in the hospital (-1 on the previous day), six of them in an intensive care unit (-1 on the previous day). On Saturday, the district announced another corona-related death. According to the announcement on Monday, the number of deaths was a total of 156 since the pandemic began.
