In total, only 1,207 people sampled in the week to last week, down from 1,646 the week before.
“The Premier League can today confirm that between Monday 9 November and Sunday 15 November, 1,207 players and Club staff have tested for COVID-19. Of these, there have been 16 new positive tests,” read a Premier League statement.
