Stuttgart – The number of confirmed corona infections in Baden-Württemberg has increased by 3798 cases within one day. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 182 951 infections have been registered, as the State Health Office announced on Friday (as of 4 p.m.). The number of deaths in connection with the virus rose by 60. A total of 3352 corona deaths have so far been counted in the southwest. Nationwide, the value for new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days is 174.9, which is even higher than on the previous days. All 44 urban and rural districts are above the limit of 50, from which a district is considered a risk area. 15 of them exceed the 200 mark per 100,000 inhabitants, with the districts of Heilbronn and Pforzheim even above the 300 mark.
