The fingers may contain clues as to how people were infected with COVID-19

A new scientific study has indicated that differences in finger length between the left and right hand may hold the answer to the extent that a person has Covid disease.

Men and the elderly are more susceptible to severe Covid infections, which is why experts believe that the decline in testosterone level with age may be linked to this.

Testosterone information is believed to be preserved in finger length ratios.

John Manning, a professor at Swansea University, hopes his work with colleagues in Poland will help identify patients at risk for severe Covid infection.
