Corona Virus Cases in Malaysia Rise, This is the Cause Page all

KOMPAS.com – Director General of Health Malaysia, Noor Hisham Abdullah, said that the increase in cases experienced by Malaysia was due to pandemic fatigue or pandemic fatigue.

Hospitals also struggle with patients.

“The country’s hospital capacity is also struggling, with many Klang Valley hospitals reporting more than a 70 percent rate of use of intensive care unit (ICU) beds,” he said.

Overall, Malaysia has now recorded 2,500 new cases as of Monday (3/5/2021), bringing the total to 417,512 cases.

Noor said that hospital capacity utilization in Malaysia is currently increasing.

In a number of hospitals, such as Sungai Buloh Hospital, Kuala Lumpur Hospital, Ampang Hospital, Serdang Hospital, and Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang Hospital, beds for intensive care have been filled 70 percent.

The Ministry of Health also detected nine new clusters, bringing the number of active clusters to 398 clusters.

  • Recognize when you may experience pandemic fatigue
  • Practice loving yourself by realizing ‘It’s okay, it’s not okay’
  • Seek support if you can’t handle it.
