The Saudi Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, announced during a press conference today, Tuesday, that it is expected that Corona vaccines will reach all parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within 3 weeks, according to “Al Arabiya Net”.
And the Saudi Ministry of Health announced today that about 149 new cases of the new Corona virus were recorded in the Kingdom, and 8 deaths were recorded, while about 159 cases recovered, bringing the total of those recovering from Covid 19 to 353,512 cases.
The Ministry also indicated that the recovery rate for those infected with Coronavirus in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounted to about 97.52%, adding that 737,000 people wishing to obtain a Corona vaccine were registered through the “My Health” application.
It is worth noting that the campaign for vaccination with the first dose of the “Pfizer-Biontech” vaccine in Saudi Arabia, began several days ago, targeting the first groups with vaccination of elderly people over the age of 65 years, and workers in the professions most vulnerable to infection.
Earlier, the Saudi Health Ministry revealed that it is negotiating to obtain other vaccines besides the Pfizer vaccine.
