In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the corona vaccinations that started on Sunday continue today. Employees at the university clinics in Rostock and Greifswald are now vaccinated.
On Sunday, a total of several hundred people in old people’s and nursing homes were vaccinated against Corona by mobile vaccination teams. In Rostock alone, around 100 vaccine doses were administered – 70 to seniors, 30 to medical staff. The teams will continue their work in the facilities in the coming days.
Complications from new vaccination forms
The willingness to vaccinate was generally rated as quite high. However, the vaccination forms caused complications in some facilities. That was because new forms had been created at very short notice. These had to be signed by the residents or their relatives. It was said that some of the vaccination forms completed over the holidays were not available in time.
Corona vaccinations are to begin in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania from December 27th. All information here. more
