After the new Corona virus has become a threat threatening the whole world about 9 months since its appearance, all of us are looking forward to knowing what happens every minute, in light of the tremendous development that Covid-19 has brought in our lives.
Within this framework, “Masrawy” provides a daily service that includes displaying everything you want to know about the latest developments in the emerging corona virus, from the emergence of new symptoms or the occurrence of a different mutation, as well as the development of vaccines and drugs, in brief.
Get ready for flu season
With the approaching winter season, the flu season begins at a time when scientists and specialists talk about the possibility of a second wave of the “Corona” virus.
Many questions arise about how autumn and winter will be with the outbreak of “Corona” on the one hand, and the start of the flu and cold season on the other hand.
Infectious disease specialist Christine Engloid talked about the measures that can be followed to protect against infection from these two diseases, by following a number of tips, according to what was quoted by “Sputnik” on the Clevelan Dclinic website:
1- Get the influenza vaccine: This vaccine reduces the chances of catching the flu and reduces the possibility of severe disease in the event of infection.
2- Observance of safety precautions: The “Corona” virus spreads like influenza viruses, from droplets that come out from the patient’s nose or mouth, or by touching the hands or face of an infected person, or by touching things such as door handles that infected people have touched.
Therefore, it is preferable to wear the mask in public places, wash hands frequently, and maintain a safety distance.
3- Paying attention to the home medicine pharmacy: by filling it with the necessary good medicines in case you get sick and have to stay at home, and these medicines include fever reducer, pain reliever, cough syrup, thermometer, anti-inflammatory.
The Russian “Victor” Center ends the clinical test of the vaccine
Experts at the Russian State “Victor” Center for Virology and Biotechnologies have completed a second phase of clinical testing of the vaccine against “Covid-19”.
This was stated by the head of the Russian “Ross Potrip Nadzor” (Consumption Control), Anna Popova, who said that the clinical tests for the vaccine were concluded today, indicating that the vaccination process using the new vaccine will be voluntary. And it may be compulsory in the event of vaccination of those related to occupational hazards, according to what Russia has reported today.
Symptoms appear on 90% of “Corona recoverers”
A preliminary study conducted by South Korea showed that 9 out of every 10 people recovering from infection with the Coronavirus have side effects, such as fatigue, psychological consequences, and loss of sense of smell and taste.
The results of the research came with the number of Corona deaths worldwide exceeding the million mark, which is a painful point in the epidemic that has greatly damaged the global economy, has burdened all health systems and changed the way people live, according to what Al Arabiya reported.
“The fastest machine in the world” for Corona tests
A Chinese company is developing “the fastest machine in the world” for coronavirus tests, and plans to invade Europe and America.
In a Beijing lab, a worker in a pink coat takes a sample from a person’s respiratory system, adds reagents, and places it in a black-and-white device the size of a printer.
This machine, called “Flash 20”, at a cost of 300,000 yuan (38,000 euros), which can handle four samples at the same time, detects the presence of the Corona virus or not. Its result is issued within half an hour, and the person who took the test receives it directly on his phone, according to what was reported by “Al-Arabiya”.
