In the Main-Spessart district, 528 people are currently infected with the corona virus. This is announced by the Main-Spessart District Office. In total, there have been 7,159 people who have tested positive since the beginning of the pandemic. Of these, 6,407 people have recovered. The 7-day incidence per 100,000 inhabitants for the Main-Spessart district is currently 185 (source: RKI). 224 people died from or with Covid-19. 11 Covid patients are currently being treated at the Main-Spessart Clinic, four of them in the intensive care unit. There are 477 close contacts (KP1) in quarantine at home.

Vaccination day on Saturday 18th December in Zellingen
The practice team of Dr. Johannes Kromczynski offers a vaccination day in the gym in Zellingen (Badstr. 3) on Saturday, December 18th. Booster vaccinations are given priority, occasionally also first and second vaccinations. On this day, the vaccine from Moderna, which is approved for people who are 30 years of age and older, is vaccinated. A booster vaccination is possible at the earliest five months after the primary vaccination, and after vaccination with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine already after four weeks. For a vaccination, a telephone registration via the doctor’s practice in Karlstadt (0 93 53/97 360) is necessary. Bring the yellow vaccination certificate, identity card, insurance card and the completed information sheet.
