This ends the previous requirement to isolate yourself at home for five days in the event of a corona infection. The Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and pharmacists demanded repeal
The day before, the North Rhine-Westphalia Association of Pharmacists had already demanded an end to the obligation to isolate in NRW. In the federal states in which the mask requirement has already been lifted, there has been no increase in corona infections with severe courses, said association head Thomas Preis of the “Rheinische Post”. This indicates that the population is largely immunized. If the mask requirement falls, the obligation to isolate should also be lifted.
The North Rhine Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians also shares the demand. “An obligation to isolate should be ended promptly, since each individual must learn to take more responsibility for themselves as well as for others in solidarity“, the newspaper quoted a KV spokesman.
