The federal and state governments agreed on January 24 that the applicable Corona rules should continue to exist. The federal states will adapt their state regulations accordingly.
- It remains necessary that contacts clearly to to reduce.

The regulations in the individual areas:
Private gatherings in public or private spaces attended by people who neither vaccinated nor recovered are, are up your own household and a maximum of two other people of another household. Children up to the age of 14 do not count.

The federal and state governments already agreed on January 7th that rules for isolation (of sick people) and quarantine (for contact persons) to change.
The following contact persons of a corona infected person no longer in quarantine:
- Three times vaccinated (fully vaccinated + booster vaccination)
- Recovered from the 28th day to the 90th day from the date of taking the positive test
- Fully vaccinated from day 15 after the second vaccination to day 90 after the second vaccination
- Recovered with additional vaccination
- Those vaccinated with the Johnson&Johnson vaccine who are additionally vaccinated 2 times
For everyone else: The isolation or quarantine ends after ten days (without a test). Anyone who wants to end the quarantine or isolation early can do so after just seven days with a negative rapid antigen test and at least 48 hours without symptoms.
Also for Employees of hospitals, nursing homes and integration assistance facilities these general rules will apply in the future: You must be symptom-free for at least 48 hours and have a negative present a certified rapid antigen test, if you want to end the isolation early after an infection after seven days.
The Federal Ministry of Health and the Robert Koch Institute will adjust the rules promptly. So far, the mandatory submission of a negative PCR test has been in force here by resolution of January 7th.
Pupils and children in the childcare offerings can the quarantine as a contact person already after five days by a PCR or rapid antigen test break up. Exceptions to the quarantine are possible if there is a high level of protection (e.g. daily tests or the obligation to wear masks).

The 2G rule also applies nationwide and regardless of incidence in retail. Shops for daily needs are excluded. Access must be controlled by the shops. At the shopping in shops will the use of FFP2 Masks highly recommended

In the Gastronomy (Restaurants, cafés, bars and pubs etc.) applies nationwide 2G Plus Rule. Only vaccinated and recovered people with a daily test or with a booster vaccination (from the day of the booster vaccination) should have access. Masks cannot be worn permanently in these places, so the virus variant is particularly easy to transmit there. The individual federal state is responsible for the precise design.
In the future, the 2-G-Plus rule will apply nationwide in gastronomy.

The following applies to local public transport and regional and long-distance trains in addition to the mask requirement, the 3G rule. If passengers are not vaccinated or have recovered, they must carry proof of a negative rapid corona test with them when using a means of transport. residents of Retirement and nursing homes, residential homes for people with disabilities and other particularly vulnerable groups require one special protection.
The Bundestag has therefore the so-called “facility-related” compulsory vaccination decided. By March 15, employees of clinics, nursing homes and similar facilities must provide proof that they have been vaccinated or have recovered.
All visitors and employees must have one every day negative Testbescheinigung submit. This also applies to vaccinated people.
