Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the ministry, stated that 993 new cases that proved positive in laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures conducted by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 55 new cases.
