Neither the stricter corona rules nor his own Covid disease stand in the way of moderator Guido Cantz at the solemn farewell to “Do you understand fun?”
The 200th episode of the Saturday evening show, which will be shown on December 18 at 8.15 p.m. on Erste, was recorded in the Bavaria studios in Munich in mid-October, according to Südwestrundfunk (SWR). The presenters Jörg Pilawa, Isabel Varell and Arabella Kiesbauer as well as the singers Andy Borg and Francine Jordi are present as guests.
The show lives from films that were shot in front of hidden cameras. Decoys and victims are not always prominent – the makers also strike at unknown passers-by in shopping malls or in nature. Cantz will stop hosting at the end of the year after 60 editions. He will be followed by Barbara Schöneberger in the new year.
The 50-year-old announced a few days ago on his Instagram channel that he had tested positive for the corona virus and was in domestic isolation. “I’m fine and I’ve had mild symptoms so far,” the entertainer wrote. He had been vaccinated twice and did not know where he was infected.
