New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who emerged as a star in the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), is suffering from various scandals. In the article, Boylan claimed that in 2018, Governor Cuomo stopped his way out after reporting and suddenly kissed his lips. On the plane returning from attending an event in October 2017, Governor Cuomo announced that he had proposed “strip poker” (a poker game where you take off your clothes).
The revelation came from a situation where political life was in crisis as suspicions arose that Governor Cuomo announced that the number of Corona 19 deaths in New York State nursing facilities was deliberately lowered.
Earlier, New York State Attorney General Leticia James released a report on the 28th of last month stating that the actual number of deaths from COVID-19 in a nursing facility in New York State is inconsistent with the number announced by Governor Cuomo.
In response, Governor Cuomo held a press conference on the 15th and admitted that the number of deaths had not been transparently disclosed. In this regard, the New York Federal Prosecutors’ Office and the FBI have initiated a formal investigation, and the New York State Legislature is pushing ahead with impeachment of Governor Cuomo.
Governor Cuomo, a former lawyer, took office in January 2011. He succeeded in the 3rd selection in 2018 and is currently serving his last term until December next year. He is also the eldest son of Mario Cuomo, who served as the third governor of New York, and is also famous as a rich politician.
He emerged as a’national star’ by explaining the emergency situation in New York State, which was called the epicenter of Corona 19 in the United States last year, through daily press briefings in a transparent and calm manner. He was the first incumbent politician to win an Emmy Award, which actors usually receive, and was also mentioned as a Democratic candidate for the next presidential election in 2024.
Meanwhile, Governor Cuomo denied the allegations raised by Boylan.
