The safety region includes the municipalities of Alkmaar, Castricum, Koggenland and everything north of that line. So also West Friesland, Den Helder, Schagen and Hollands Kroon.
Noord-Holland Noord now has the same risk level as Zaanstreek-Waterland, Kennemerland, Amsterdam-Amstelland, Rotterdam-Rijnmond, Haaglanden, Utrecht, Hollands-Midden, Zuid-Holland Zuid, Brabant-Zuidoost, Midden- and West-Brabant, Brabant-Noord , Gooi and Vechtstreek, Gelderland-Central, Gelderland-South, Twente, Limburg-North, IJsselland and Flevoland.
The risk level also increased in South Limburg on Wednesday. The situation there changed from ‘worrisome’ to ‘serious’. Fryslân, Groningen, Drenthe, North and East Gelderland are also at this level. Zeeland is now the only region that is still at the ‘worrying’ level, the second lowest risk level. No region has the lowest level, ‘watchful’.
