Corona rules adjusted in the administration

For the first time in two years, there are no separate statutory occupational health and safety requirements for business operations under Corona conditions.

The 3G rule, which previously still applied to employees, has been lifted. The obligation to wear a protective mask in the buildings also no longer applies. However, the crisis team still recommends the masks to both employees and visitors. If there are special factors, the managers of the administration can make further regulations to limit risks. For example, the parents of daycare children should still wear masks when bringing and picking up the offspring, because in this sensitive area any infection and quarantine can lead to restrictions in the care of the children.

Events, meetings and training courses are permitted in rooms of appropriate size. A minimum distance of 1.50 meters should still be maintained, alternatively at least a medical mask must be worn.

Crisis team leader Johannes Slawig thanked the employees for all their efforts and measures that have contributed to ensuring the best possible service during the pandemic years: “We have succeeded; we were able to maintain our citizen service because we adapted to the challenges quickly and with great flexibility. Now we hope together that the “regained normality” will last forever.”

The city’s crisis management team has suspended its regular meetings until further notice and switched to standby mode. However, further developments will of course be closely monitored so that we can react immediately if necessary.
