Corona pushed Palfinger profit deep down

Vienna / Bergheim – At the Salzburg crane arm manufacturer, profits fell sharply in 2020 because of the corona pandemic. The sales proceeds also suffered a setback. The bottom line was that the result fell by almost 38 percent from 80 million to 49.8 million euros compared to the previous year, as the group announced on Thursday afternoon in advance of tomorrow’s annual press conference. Sales fell by 12.5 percent to 1.5 billion euros. A dividend of 45 cents per share awaits the shareholders.
