Corona protest in Leverkusen-Opladen: Small protest march led by right-wing extremists

Leverkusen –

Significantly fewer participants than in previous protest marches, which were led by the right-wing extremist Leverkusen lawyer and politician Markus Beisicht, took part in a renewed protest rally on Thursday evening in Opladen. Around 50 participants, most of whom did not wear a mask despite repeated requests, met in Goethestrasse under the supervision of a significantly larger police force.

Neo-Nazi is a guest speaker

Keynote speaker Beisicht once again called for the lifting of any restrictions on civil liberties with regard to Corona and called for the responsible politicians to be held accountable for these restrictions.

Another applauded speaker was the neo-Nazi Alexander Kurth from Saxony, who had come to Leverkusen once more as a guest agitator. (eng)
