Storm kicker Kelvin Yeboah tested positive for Corona immediately before the hit against Real Sociedad. He has to serve his quarantine in a hotel in Spain.
The SK Sturm has sold more than dearly at Real Sociedad in the Europa League and is traveling back to Graz with one point in their luggage. Not there: Kelvin Yeboah – The striker gave a positive corona test shortly before kick-off. As sports director Andreas Schicker has now confirmed, the 21-year-old has to spend the quarantine in Spain and was not allowed to travel back to Graz with the others. The subsequent tests with players and supervisors were negative.
For security reasons, an additional charter flight to Altach was taken especially for players. “The situation is tense because we were in contact with the positives (Gazibegovic, Yeboah) a lot,” said Schicker. Yeboah will have to stay in Spain for ten days before he can join the team again. His management should travel to San Sebastian to look after him as best as possible, it is said.
