Preventive testing during hospital admission
In Francis they have started preventive testing of patients during hospital admissions. The reason for preventive testing is the contagiousness of the British variant of the corona virus and the fact that there are more infected patients without complaints. Patients who come to the hospital for a scheduled admission are informed in advance and invited for a corona test one day before admission. In acute admissions, the patients are tested immediately upon admission.

Francis helps with vaccinations
It has been decided nationally to start vaccinating the medical high-risk groups appointed by the Health Council. The hospitals are called in to vaccinate these patients.
