One week ago, 11 new cases of covid-19 infection were suddenly diagnosed in Østre Toten municipality.
Nine of the cases were quickly traced to religious meetings in the Philadelphia Lena Congregation. 60 close contacts were quarantined in addition to those infected.
The pastor himself lives in another Mjøs municipality, Hamar.
He was at two meetings in Philadelphia Lena – May 2 and 4. He informs Totens Blad that he became ill the night of 5 May.
– I was tested the same morning and got an answer the next day. It was covid-19, says Erichsen to Totens Blad.

– The least I could do
– We have hardly registered that anyone goes out with such information in such a situation, Dagbladet says on the phone on Friday.
– When the situation first became as it was, all that was missing was that I did not go out and inform, says Pastor Kjell Erichsen.
– Shortness of breath and small
– How has time been for you after you were diagnosed with the infection?
Towards evening I get a little short of breath and small, at least tonight. On Saturday I finished the quarantine. And then I will see if it helps to move a little more, says Erichsen.
Østre Toten municipality announces on Friday that the test station at Skreia will be also open Sunday 16 May because a large number of quarantined residents have needs.
