In the dispute over general corona vaccination, there are also tensions within the red-green-yellow coalition. SPD faction deputy Dirk Wiese criticized Federal Justice Minister Marco Buschmann from the FDP for his skeptical statements about the project. Buschmann’s statements were not “legally cleanly thought through,” said Wiese to the newspapers of the Funke media group. In addition, “colleague Buschmann” must be clear: “Only those who now increase the vaccination rate for the coming autumn/winter will then continue to have a perspective of opening.” The Minister of Justice had said to the “Spiegel” with regard to a general obligation to vaccinate: “In my opinion, only important legal interests of the general public, such as preventing an overload of the public health system, can justify such an intervention one doubts.”
