Rhineland-Palatinate: Corona outbreak in retirement home in Osthofen

After the corona outbreak in a retirement home in Osthofen, a virus analysis is now to clarify how the large number of infections could occur. This was reported by SWR-Aktuell today.
Since it is still unclear where the outbreak began, the Alzey-Worms district health department now wants to specifically investigate which virus variants those affected were infected. Currently 51 residents and employees have tested positive for the virus. The home management announced that it would continue to be tested every day. There is now a third death.
