The CovApp was available in several languages
We supported the international community in the fight against COVID-19 by offering the CovApp in different languages. Each translation of the app included regional information on how to contact healthcare providers and local authorities. People around the world were able to access the CovApp and receive decision-making support for measures to be taken during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What did the test results mean?
The results of the CovApp were tailored to the individual user and served as a decision-making aid for the measures to be taken. The online test asked for typical symptoms of respiratory diseases, possible contacts with sick people, as well as known risk factors such as chronic diseases or smoking.
In contrast, travel activity only played a subordinate role in the survey. In addition to the orientation aid, the users were also informed of what the result actually meant for them in everyday life: For example, we asked about the living situation and age in order to differentiate the recommendations for dealing with the current situation even more precisely.
