In the state of Bremen, 667 new corona infections were reported on Friday. According to the health department, 569 cases from Bremen and 98 from Bremerhaven were reported. Another corona patient died in Bremen. The number of pandemic deaths in the entire federal state thus rises to 804.
As on the previous day, the seven-day incidences in both cities are falling. While the number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants fell from 645 to 624 within seven days in the city of Bremen, the value in Bremerhaven on Friday (574) remained at a similar level to the previous day (572). In the past week, the values were still 758 (Bremen) and 727 (Bremerhaven). At that time, 863 new corona infections were reported.
Seven-day incidence in Bremen and Bremerhaven
The hospitalization incidence in Bremen increases from 4.24 to 4.41. In Bremerhaven, the number of hospital admissions per 100,000 inhabitants due to a corona infection falls from 6.16 to 5.28.
133 people are currently being treated for a corona infection in Bremen clinics, eleven of them in intensive care units. Seven of them need ventilation. In Bremerhaven, 38 people are currently being treated for corona disease in hospitals. Four of them are in the intensive care unit, two are being ventilated.
