The crime has also been reported and the police are involved in the investigation. The Central Netherlands police can even confirm that a 24-year-old man from Rotterdam has been arrested. According to the GGD, he may have approached 85 people with a request to pay for a (free) corona test. These people are now all called after.

Loot still unknown
Exactly how long it was going on and how much money was stolen is still being investigated. It is also being examined how this could have happened. The GGD has a pool of about 2,100 employees who can be deployed in their call centers.
