SH will likely decide today whether masks are mandatory on buses and trains
In Bavaria and Saxony-Anhalt, the mask obligation on buses and trains in local and regional transport has already been abolished in recent days – now Schleswig-Holstein could even be the first northern German federal state to take this step. Several weeks ago, Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) announced his goal not to extend the requirement to wear mouth and nose protection on buses and trains in Schleswig-Holstein, which is currently limited to the end of the year. There should therefore be only one recommendation to wear masks. A decision after consulting with experts was announced for this week in Kiel. This afternoon at 4.30 pm Günther and Health Minister Kerstin von der Decken (CDU) were invited to a press conference to provide information on further actions of the state government in connection with Corona. It was already mid-November in Schleswig-Holstein the general isolation obligation for people who have tested positive for Corona is no longer applicable. The state had agreed this with Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Hesse. Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Hamburg want to comply with the obligation to isolate themselves and wear a mask in public transport until further notice due to the corona situation, which they believe is still tense

Even from northern countries today only incidence values
Since the federal states did not transmit any numbers on newly registered infections to the Robert Koch Institute at the weekend, only the current incidence values per 100,000 inhabitants and week are reported today – the numbers will probably be communicated later tomorrow. The incidence value is 409.3 for Lower Saxony (previous week: 374.7), for Schleswig-Holstein with 272.6 (previous week: 231.8) and for Hamburg with 189.1 (previous week: 196.7). The federal states of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Bremen publish their current krona numbers this afternoon.

RKI: Seven-day incidence nationwide at 210.8
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gives the national incidence for seven days this morning at 210.8. A week ago, the number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants per week was 195.1. As usual in recent weeks and months, the federal states did not transmit any data to the RKI over the weekend. The numbers of new confirmed infections will not be announced until tomorrow.
Note on current figures: The incidence values do not provide a complete picture of the contagion situation. Experts assume a large number of cases go unrecorded by the RKI, mainly because not all infected people have had a PCR test done. However, only positive PCR tests are included in the official statistics. Furthermore, late registrations or transmission problems can lead to a distortion of the individual daily values. In general, the number of newly recorded infections varies significantly from weekday to weekday, as many federal states do not report them to the RKI, especially on weekends, and report their cases later in the week.
