The churches will hold an extra fundraiser from Tuesday to combat the costs of the corona crisis. Usually once a year in January the churches organize the Kerkbalans campaign to raise money for their own congregation or parish, but now extra money is needed to keep the buildings and communities afloat, says spokeswoman Anna Kruse. Kerkbalans is a joint action of the Roman Catholic Church, the Protestant Church, the Old Catholic Church and the Moravian Church.
