Due to the many corona infections in the country, Germany will again designate the Netherlands as a high-risk area from Sunday. Travelers from the Netherlands must register online with the German authorities before departure to Germany and quarantine on arrival if they are unable to upload a vaccination or recovery certificate.
The quarantine period lasts ten days, but can be ended early from the fifth day with a corona test. The entry restrictions apply to all people who have been in a high-risk area in the ten days before their arrival. Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba have had this status since the end of July.
