Diederik Gommers, chairman of the Dutch Association for Intensive Care (NVIC), has doubted whether he should take a booster shot. He tells this to readers on news site NU.nl. “I thought: I’m healthy, I’ve been vaccinated twice and I’m following the rules. Why another vaccine? Where does it end?”
An antibody test showed that he did not have enough antibodies. He was shocked. “What if I ended up on ICU? In addition: how annoying is that jab really? When I received the invitation, I immediately got a shot.”
