The Central Bureau for Driving Licenses (CBR) has temporarily frozen the possibility to schedule exams and tests due to the press conference on Saturday evening. According to insiders, the cabinet will announce a hard lockdown. This probably also means that non-medical contact professions, such as driving instructors, are not allowed to perform their jobs.
The lockdown will start on Sunday at five o’clock in the morning and will apply until at least January 14, it is expected. Since five o’clock in the afternoon it is not possible to book or change exams and tests in the system of the CBR.
“If the measures taken by the cabinet have consequences for the services provided by the CBR, we will have to make the necessary adjustments to the systems. As soon as the systems can open again, we will report this immediately,” the organization reports on the website. According to a spokeswoman for the CBR, the driving school industry is taking “everything into account” for the time being.
